Australian residents who are 18 or over can enter the promotion.
You need to submit your entry between 12.01am (AEST) on the 21st of April 2025 and 11.59pm (AEST) on the 24th of August 2025.
The competition will run in participating Dan Murphy’s and BWS outlets (including online and at Jimmy Brings, UberEATS, Menulog and DoorDash online only) which are stocking specially marked packs in Australia.
To submit your entry during the Competition Period you must:
- Purchase a specially marked pack of either Victoria Bitter 24 pack bottles or cans OR Victoria Bitter 30 pack cans from any BWS, Dan Murphy’s stores displaying promotional material (including online) and Jimmy Brings, UberEATS, Menulog and DoorDash (online only).
- Locate the unique code on the inside of your pack.
- Scan the QR code on the specially marked case to get to the promo website (www.vbhardearnedbreak.com.au) and fill out the entry form, entering your unique code, and providing all other requested information to enter the draw.
To enter, you must purchase a specially marked pack of either Victoria Bitter 24 pack bottles or cans OR Victoria Bitter 30 can pack , example below:

No, to enter you must purchase a specially marked case of either Victoria Bitter 24 pack bottles or cans OR Victoria Bitter 30 pack can.
Your unique code is required to confirm you have made a qualifying purchase during the competition period. You may be asked to provide your unique code from the specially marked pack as proof of purchase at any time.
You can enter multiple times, provided you only enter one (1) qualifying purchase, per day. There is also a maximum of five (5) entries per person throughout the promo period.
The Major Prize is a $20,000 Free2Travel voucher where you can design your own holiday: flights, accommodation, day tours, attractions, travel insurance, car hire, concerts, dining, special interest trips, and any taxes involved in the bookings thereof.
There are 1,000’s of instant win prizes to be won, including:
- $15 Dan Murphy’s gift card; $15 BWS gift card; or
- $15 Digital Vault Pays-enabled Prepaid Mastercard® gift card for those in NSW & NT
Major Prize - There is one (1) major prize to be won.
Instant Win - Up to 100,000 to be won.
If you are our lucky Major Prize Winner you may bring one (1) adult companion with you within the set $20,000 major prize Free2Travel voucher.
The draw will take place at 12:00 pm AEST on the 27th of August, 2025.
The Major Prize Winner will be contacted by email and phone within seven (7) days of the draw.
The Instant Prize Winners will be notified on screen upon entry form submission, subject to verification.
If you are drawn as the Major winner, you will be contacted by phone and email to arrange the details of your prize. All minor winners of the $15 vouchers will be notified on screen they have won and contacted via email with their prize.
